Ephemera Quartet presents a night of unique instrumental music with Space Jazz and Polymorphic Orkestra: Electro-improvisation!
Ephemera Quartet play space music – original compositions and improvisations inspired by outer space. Fusing the sound-worlds of jazz and contemporary classical music, the quartet is led by Keyna Wilkins (compositions, flute, piano) and includes Elsen Price (double bass), Carl St Jacques (viola) and Will Gilbert (trumpet). Polymorphic Orkestra is an electro-acoustic improvising trio made up of Lee McIver (trumpet/flugelhorn/laptop), Ed Goyer (vibraphone/percussion) and Ed Rodrigues (drums, iPad, samples).
