Willoughby Symphony’s children’s concert Crowns and Tiaras is especially for children, introducing them to classical music in a fun and engaging way, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Dr Nicholas Milton AM will lead an interactive, explanatory performance with excerpts from Edward Elgar’s majestic Enigma Variations. 

This 50-minute concert is a unique opportunity to observe the working of an orchestra, under the direction of their internationally acclaimed, Grammy-nominated Artistic Director.

Afterwards, there will be more entertainment with free crown decorating from 3pm – 4pm in The Concourse foyer, as well as an opportunity to meet the musicians and play their orchestral instruments. Children are encouraged to dress up in their regal attire with a crown or tiara – prizes for best dressed!
