‘A Romantic Prophecy’- Music For Viola And Piano From Resonance
Resonance Concerts and Events presents A Romantic Prophecy this week, which features a one-hour programme of music from the outer edges of the great Romantic era.
Pianist Chris Cartner will be joined by viola player Ella Brinch for an evening of music with great emotional intensity and profundity. Along with works by Mendelssohn and Prokofiev, the centrepiece of the evening is the stormy and passionate Sonata for Viola and Piano no.1 in F minor Johannes Brahms.
