Kats Chernin And Cislowska: Butterflying
Composer and pianist Elena Kats-Chernin, and her long-time collaborator, pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska join forces to showcase their formidable talents in Butterflying, a performance in duet, playing the music of Kats-Chernin. With four hands on one piano, the two pianists will play new treasures and old favourites.
Elena Kats-Chernin has created works for choir, chamber ensemble and opera including the Vienna Boys Choir, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the state symphony orchestras of Australia. Tamara-Anna Cislowska is one of Australia’s most gifted pianists and the winner of many awards including the 2015 ARIA Award for ‘Best Classical Album’.
Butterflying will soon be available as a recording on ABC Classics.
