Christ Church St Laurence celebrates the anniversary of the church’s dedication with its annual Orchestral Mass, which this year is Haydn’s exciting Mass in Time of War (‘Paukenmesse’).

As well, directed by Neil McEwan, the choir of Christ Church St Laurence, the St Laurence Orchestra, organist Peter Jewkes and soloists will perform Stanford’s Glorious and Powerful God and the Locus iste of Derek Ward, who happens to be one of the choristers.

The Mass is a free event and seating is unreserved, but the organisers advise that the church is likely to be completely full on the night, so try to be early!
