Live At Lunch: Flute Spirits And The Seasons
Flautist, Jane Rutter leads the return of the popular Live at Lunch concert series for its fifth season at The Concourse in Chatswood commencing with the enchanting Flute Spirits & the Seasons.
In this concert, Jane, who is the Artistic Director of this popular concert series, makes a mystical connection between the Australian Dreamtime and Western Classical music. She plays 10 different flutes in an intriguing display of solo gold, silver, bamboo, ebony and ethnic flutes.
With guest star, Aboriginal didgeridoo player, Blak Douglas, Jane will perform a selection of works by Debussy, Devienne, Vaughn-Williams, Ross Edwards, Irving Berlin, Jane Rutter and Sarah Hopkins.
